Introduction
My social media journey began this year, in 2024, and in just eight months, I reached millions of views and hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram alone! This is why the main question I receive in my DMs is always the same:
“What is your secret to gaining all these followers?“
Honestly, I often laugh at this question because the answer is something everyone already knows but no one likes to hear. Now, let’s dive into how to gain more followers on Instagram.
Find a niche: Search for your passion

The first thing you must do is find a niche that interests or excites you. I always recommend choosing something you’re truly passionate about. Before “PERSONA,” I tried at least three or four other online ventures that didn’t interest me at all, and guess what?
I gave up.
I wasn’t passionate about them, and I wasn’t happy doing them. That’s why it’s crucial to choose something you enjoy. Remember, you’re dealing with people, not just numbers or algorithms. If your interest is genuine, your followers will feel it and be more interested in you as well.
Get the necessities
The second thing you’ll need is equipment that lets you create the content you want. For me, my computer, good video editing software, and creativity were enough. But depending on your niche, you might also need a video camera, microphones, or other tools.
I believe that a good PC is essential for creating quality content. I’ll leave you a link to the PC I use daily, which allows me to create high-quality videos at a reasonable price.
You don’t need to buy the best equipment, especially when starting out. You can opt for something used or even use what you already have, even if the quality isn’t perfect at first. You can upgrade your equipment as you start earning money from this passion.

Do not be in a hurry.
It may seem obvious but it is not at all. On social media, you CANNOT HURRY. You have no choice, either take your time to improve and get noticed or you will keep dropping account after account. Remember well that the Instagram feed does not work like other social media like TikTok, your initial content will not be boosted at the beginning allowing you to make decent views right away but rather, you will spend several months with the same 100/200 followers, I assure you. I myself have been stuck between 180 and 200 followers for more than 3 months!
To think that you can get miraculous results in a few weeks is next to impossible, do not listen to any guru who promises you endless views endless by buying their course, there is no magic formula or trick to circumvent patience.
Post Post Post
One widespread mistake I see is that many pages, even established ones:
Post too little.
Right now, quantity is more important than quality on Instagram. This doesn’t mean posting low-quality content will gain you followers. However, consistently posting medium to high-quality content will. Currently, “PERSONA” posts three videos a day. It’s challenging to produce that much content daily, but I believe the volume of content I posted was crucial for my profile’s rapid growth.
Wait until you have a secure and loyal audience before focusing heavily on quality.

Consistency and Continuous Improvement
What’s the point of posting seven videos in one day and then burning out for three or four days? In this world, there’s no such thing as a day off, at least not in the beginning.
I advise everyone to post one video a day. It’s enough to grow your profile. But remember: EVERY DAY. And you’ll have to do this for months before seeing even a small result. It’s not easy, and I’m fully aware of that. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t easily promote small channels.
Another important factor is continuous improvement. Whenever you post a video, watch and rewatch it multiple times. Look for the errors. Find what kept it from going viral. It could be something as small as a single frame or the wrong background music. It doesn’t matter—work on increasing your content’s quality day after day.

Conclusion
In conclusion, anyone can achieve great results on social media with patience, creativity, and drive. Remember, you’re showing the world your unique perspective, so don’t be afraid to experiment and show who you are.
